In order to start fresh with Informant for OS X, you must follow the steps below in order:

  1. Open Informant and then hold down the OPTION key and go to “Informant” menu and select “Quit Informant & Helper”
  2. Then go to ~/Library/Group Containers/ and delete the folder WZC4362K6S.com.fanaticsoftware.informant
  3. Now restart Informant
