The color of your events is dictated by the color assigned to your calendars, tag, or individual event color. The color is first set as the calendar color; if you add a tag then it becomes the tag color; and if you choose an individual event color instead it becomes that color.

- On iOS Informant to change the color of your calendars, go to informant settings>calendar trigger more>manage calendars>select the calendar you want to change to open its editor and adjust the color.

To change the color of your tags, go to informant settings>calendar trigger more>manage tags>select the tag you want to change to open its editor and adjust the color. You can set a tag to no color so that even with it applied, the event will take the calendar color instead.

- On Mac informant, you can right click on the calendar name at the far left of your calendar view to open the calendars editor - or go to informant menu>manage>calendar>select the calendar you want and open its editor to change the color.

For tags, go to informant menu>manage>tags>select the tag you want to open its editor and change its color.

- On Android Informant, to change the color of calendars tap the menu bars at the bottom right of your main calendar view and choose visible calendars.  Tap the small triangle to the right of your calendar and tap edit.  Choose the color you want your calendar to be.

To change the color of tags, tap the menu bars at the bottom right of your main calendar view and choose tag filters.  Tap the small triangle to the right of your tag and tap edit.  Choose the color you want your tag to be.

Then on any platform when you create your event in informant, you can also choose instead to have an event color (look for this at the color option in the event editor). This will apply the color you want to the event and overwrite the calendar and tag colors.
