What gets backed up with Pocket Informant's Backup file?
Pocket Informant has robust backup options. To understand how the backups work we need to detail where specific data lives. Pocket Informant has only three data sources, two of which we control and backup.
This stores all data such as sync accounts (and all their settings), calendars, tags, templates, events, tasks, notes, and supporting data.
This data is backed up automatically by default once a day inside of the Informant application.
This does not get backed up by Pocket Informant. We read and write to it directly, but we do not actually store anything other than a small sample of data for display purposes. Backing up Pocket Informant data does not backup iOS data. iOS Data includes: iOS Events, Reminders, contacts.
iOS data is backed up according to your device settings.
